I grew up in Potomac, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. I lived several years as a child in Japan and ever since then have been curious about other cultures and communication. As a gay Jew who speaks Spanish, Hebrew, Arabic, Portuguese, and Catalan, I've always had to juggle identities - and have always been enriched by them.
My experiences working for immigrant rights groups, teaching Spanish, and working in progressive politics have taught me the importance of communication between different types of people. These experiences ultimately led me to become a professional communicator.
I want to help good causes succeed by improving organizations' ability to communicate with their desired audiences. If I can help you bring people together around a common cause, then I feel I am doing my part with you to make the world a better place. I look forward to connecting and seeing how we can work together.
